The Niedersächsisches Jahrbuch für Landesgeschichte [Lower Saxonian Yearbook for Regional History], since 1924 edited by the Historische Kommission für Niedersachsen und Bremen [Historical Commission for Lower Saxony and Bremen], serving as well as publication of the Historischer Verein für Niedersachsen [Historical Society for Lower Saxony], is committed to all epochs and historical subdisciplines. The Yearbook usually contains elaborate papers of the presentations given at the last annual conference of the Commission. Additionally the Yearbook comprises further essays, research reports and the news of the Historical Commission. The extensive review section offers reviews on northwest German regional history, but also on general works. Up to the last but one of the current issue the Yearbook is also completely available online.
The reviews of the Yearbook are published on recensio.regio one year after their publication in print.
