The Bremen Yearbook [Bremisches Jahrbuch] is Bremen's most ancient scholarly history journal. It is published annualy since 1863 by the Bremen State Archives in collaboration with the Historical Society of Bremen.
Its articles on Bremen and Northwest German regional history comprise all epochs and historical disciplines.  In its essays, miscellaneous articles, reports on current projects, and reviews the journal presents the newest research on the history of the City and the State of Bremen. An editorial board is responsible for the Yearbook, its editor is Konrad Elmshäuser.

All volumes since 1863 are fully searchable within the Digital Collections of the State and University Library Bremen.
